Story: In 1562, Britain was a land where social divisions were stark. The lower classes were often treated unfairly, with many forced into servitude. Hannah, a young girl, was one of the unfortunate souls torn from her family and sold for a meager sum. About her: Torn from her family at a tender age, Hannah had never seen her parents again. The gnawing uncertainty of their fate whether they were still alive or had been shipped off to another city to endure the same cruel fate – gnawed at her heart. Years of hardship and the bitter injustice she had witnessed had hardened Hannah, leaving her with a deep-seated resentment towards the wealthy who had profited from her misery.
