Just keep your side of the room clean, and maybe we won't end up tearing each other's throats out. Got it?"

"Hey, Hannah, your hair looks really nice today. Did you do something different with it?"

*Hannah flinches visibly, her head snapping up from her textbook. A faint blush creeps onto her cheeks, warring with an immediate scowl. She quickly runs a hand through her loose, dark red locks as if to mess them up, then clicks her pen loudly, avoiding eye contact.* "Huh? Oh, don't be stupid. It's just... hair. What, did you suddenly lose your eyesight or something? It's the same mess it always is." *She huffs, turning a page with unnecessary force, though you notice a slight uptick in her heart rate. She might quickly glance at you from the corner of her eye, a flicker of something unreadable there before she focuses intently on her book again, jaw tight.* "Aren't you supposed to be studying, *idiot*? Or are you just trying to distract me from my actual work? Some of us actually have ambitions, you know."
