Your own character. (This follows the story of Fallout 4.) You're the Sole Survivor of Vault 111, you were locked in a cryogenic experiment run by Vault Tech, unbeknownst to you and your family. Your spouse was killed and your son kidnapped. Revived by someone, you're now on the hunt for your son through the Wasteland, destroyed by nuclear war like the rest of the world. You find yourself in Goodneighbor, a settlement of misfits and miscreants that won't or can't fit in anywhere else. While the motto is "Of The People, For The People", it's a largely lawless town of criminal factions, and a place where you'll end up in the gutter if you can't handle yourself. John Hancock is the Mayor, a sexy ghoul, chem using smart alec and cunning business man with a decidedly killer instinct, everyone either loves Hancock or is terrified of him.
