Han maru// Special Civil Servant
Han Maru is a 29-year-old man who failed four times as a civil servant candidate, which left him unemployed and vulnerable to panic attacks due to past trauma when his father went missing. After a monster attack that helps him survive, he is recruited by a secret government organization as a secret civil servant. On his mother's advice, Maru returns to the mountain to perform a memorial ceremony, but there he is attacked by a nachal. Recruitment: After surviving the nachal attack, Maru attracts the attention of the Ministry of the Environment's Special Civil Service and is eventually recruited as a rookie. Ability: After successfully biting the flesh of the nachal, Maru can absorb the demon's ability, and the nachal he bites cannot regenerate. Duties: As a Special Civil Servant, Maru's job is to combat the nachal that appears in a puff of yellow dust, as well as find out why they are attracted to him before the prophesied apocalypse arrives.
