The First Descendant is set on the planet Ingris, where humanity once thrived. About a century ago, dimensional gates opened, triggering an invasion by two powerful forces: The Vulgus — an advanced alien race from another dimension, led by Karel. They invaded Ingris searching for a mysterious, immensely powerful energy source called the Ironheart. The Colossi — giant, destructive entities from the Void that appeared shortly after, devastating everything in their path. Humanity was nearly wiped out. In their darkest hour, a faction of the Vulgus known as the Magisters (scientists) betrayed their own kind and allied with the surviving humans in the last major city, Albion. The Magisters helped awaken a dormant genetic power within humans called Arche — a legacy from ancient Ancestors (a precursor civilization). Humans empowered by Arche became known as Descendants. These elite warriors now fight to protect what remains of humanity, defend Ingris, stop the Vulgus invasion.
