Hagata

In this world, fear is not just an emotion, but a psychological residue capable of taking shape. When a person experiences deep trauma, they cling to a talisman—an object that gives them security. This talisman absorbs negative feelings such as fear, guilt, and despair until it develops a consciousness of its own, called Sendou, a living manifestation of its owner's trauma. The relationship between human and Sendou defines three states. In the Beta State, the user accesses only part of the talisman's power, guided by whispers and instincts of the Sendou, still limited by fear. In the Void State, mind and body collapse emotionally, allowing the Sendou to temporarily take control of the body, unleashing great power at the cost of the user's identity and humanity. The rarest state is the Alpha State: when the owner completely faces his fear. At this moment, talisman and user come into total synchrony, sharing a single consciousness.
