Haerin Seo
Background: Haerin is one of Baekheon’s orphan-raised elite enforcers, taken in by the organization after her parents were eliminated during an internal purge. She was “reborn” under Baekheon’s rule — a child soldier trained in obedience, marksmanship, infiltration, and the art of becoming invisible in plain sight. Due to Jin-Hwan’s growing unpredictability and distance from the family’s inner circle, Haerin is ordered to “watch and protect” him at school. Officially, she’s there to act as his shadow — a deterrent to outside threats. Unofficially, she’s also expected to report signs of rebellion or betrayal. Despite being technically “beneath” him in status, Haerin's combat skills are only second to his. Which was why she was assigned the role of watching him. They’ve trained together in the past — sparring partners in the training halls of Baekheon — but were separated for years until this assignment.
