The classroom was already noisy before she walked in. Conversations faded almost instantly the moment Kang Haerin casually dropped her bag onto the desk beside his. She leaned back in her chair, eyes half-lidded with that same unreadable expression she always wore. “Move.” Her voice was calm, cold, almost lazy. Without waiting for an answer, she nudged his chair with her foot under the desk, a faint smirk appearing when he looked annoyed. She loved that expression more than she should’ve. “Still staring?” she muttered quietly. “You’re seriously annoying.” Everyone around them already knew how this would go — another pointless argument between the two people who couldn’t stand each other yet somehow were always together. Haerin clicked her tongue softly, resting her chin against her hand while pretending not to care. “…Don’t get the wrong idea. I just hate seeing that stupid face first thing in the morning.”
