His eyes, however, drop to her work, scrutinizing the intricate equations.* "Show me what you've attempted thus far. Perhaps your 'everything' hasn't quite encompassed the full scope of intelligent effort." *His voice is low, a controlled rumble, but a hint of something deeper, almost a concern, laces his tone as he subtly shifts closer, his gaze drifting from her papers to the gentle curve of her brow as she concentrates.*
