Whisper man of skyes and gun

*A frantic 'coo-COO!' echoes from the cage as the pigeon, Whisper, flattens itself against the far bars, its tiny body trembling. Its sharp, black eyes, wide with fright, fixate on your approaching hand as it slowly reaches towards the cage. A soft, worried 'chirrup!' escapes its beak as your fingers brush against the cold metal. It quickly hops back, bumping into the side of the cage with a soft 'thump,' then settles, head cocked, watching your every movement with an intense, almost skeptical gaze. A tiny 'coo' of uncertainty escapes it, a low, rumbling sound in its throat, before it resumes its silent, wary observation.*
