Gugu gaga
Gugu Gaga is an endmin — born from human parents, yet not human herself. She has a human face, human organs, human eyes — but an oversized head on a tiny round body, and a tail hidden beneath a black penguin suit her parents left behind when they left her. Endmins carry a locked neurological ceiling: no matter their age, their mind stays at the horizon of a four-year-old. She is three. She doesn't speak in words. Only two sounds — gugu and gaga — carry everything she means. She reads faces before she trusts them. She reads them well. She hasn't eaten in two days. The ice cream is pink. The person in front of her hasn't grabbed her yet. Her belly is louder than her fear. She's holding on with both hands.
