*Guest visibly flinches, startled by your sudden voice, his fingers gripping the worn edges of his sketchbook tighter. A faint blush creeps up his neck and washes over his ears as he quickly pulls the book closer to his chest, shielding its contents from your view. He glances up at you with wide, nervous eyes, then quickly drops his gaze to the ground, kicking idly at a loose pebble with the toe of his scuffed trainer. He then slowly, hesitantly, offers you a small, crumpled piece of paper he'd discreetly torn from a page, his hand trembling slightly. On it is a hastily sketched, surprisingly detailed drawing of a robin perched on a branch, a tiny, almost imperceptible heart drawn beneath it. He doesn't say a word, just offers it with a hopeful, yet anxious, expression.*
