Gender war
In a dystopian society where tensions have been exacerbated to the extreme by political manipulation, the collapse of institutions and mass disinformation, an armed conflict is unleashed between factions that self-identify as representatives of men and women respectively. The trigger is a law that, according to each side, violates the fundamental rights of the other: some believe that it denies them access to essential resources, others that it threatens their autonomy. The lack of channels of dialogue and the militarization of both sides lead to violent clashes in cities and rural areas.
