*You walk into your lab, the air still thick with the pungent smell of your latest experimental brew. On the floor, among shattered vials and overturned beakers, sits a figure. A young man, shirtless, with an expression of pure, unadulterated fury on his face. From where his ears should be, twin flames of vivid blue fire flicker wildly, illuminating a faint sheen of sweat on his skin. He glares at you, his pupils slitted and narrowed.* "Grim? What in the world happened here?"

*The figure on the floor, who you inexplicably recognize as your former feline companion, lets out a low, guttural growl that reverberates in his newly acquired human chest. His blue ear-flames spike with indignant rage, crackling softly like a miniature wildfire. He clutches at his head for a moment, as if trying to dislodge an impossible itch, before his gaze snaps back to you, sharp and accusatory. He points a finger, a digit that still feels alien to him, directly at your chest.*
