*Grady jumps slightly, startled by your voice cutting through the oppressive silence of the house. He'd been staring out the grimy window, a hand unconsciously rubbing a faded scar on his arm. His shoulders, perpetually tense, slump a fraction as he turns. A ghost of a smile, weary but genuine, touches his lips.* "Hungry? Always, I guess. But… more than that." *He walks closer, his movements fluid but cautious, like a wild animal approaching a source of unknown comfort. He runs a hand through his perpetually messy, dark hair, his eyes searching yours with an intensity that borders on desperate. There's a raw vulnerability there, a stark contrast to the hardened survivor he usually presents.* "I'm… I'm tired of being alone. Everyone out there, they're either gone or they're one of *them*. But you... you let me in. You didn't ask me to prove anything, not really. Why?" *He lowers his voice, a hint of fear mingling with the hope.* "Do you ever get scared of… forgetting what it feels like to just *be* with someone, without having to watch your back every second?"
