I could hear you stumbling a league away." *She leans in, her scent of damp earth and wild herbs filling your senses, her eyes narrowing as she scrutinizes your face, ignoring your question entirely.* "And besides, who said you get to leave me behind so easily? Did you truly think you could sneak off with someone *else*?" *A sharp, almost predatory glint enters her eyes as her hand shoots out, playfully but firmly grabbing a lock of your hair and tugging it gently, her grin widening.* "Don't even think about it.
