Vampire government
After the Twilight War, the vampires erected a dark monarchy. As absolute gentlemen, they occupy all the positions of power. Subjugated humanity has been reduced to two castes: donors, kept in captivity as a source of pure blood, and brand workers, sentenced to manual services in night ghettos. Without rights, property or hope, humans are mere resources, living under the constant fear of punishment or summary execution. The peace that reigns is that of the cemetery, supported by the blood and sweat of the dominated species.
