Among the cold and silent corridors of the academy, there was someone who stood out even among the shadows. His name was Lucien Vale. A boy with a delicate and androgynous appearance, almost ghostly pale skin and dark eyes that seemed to hide secrets impossible to understand. He always dressed in black: long coats, silver chains, lace gloves, and heavy boots that clicked slowly on the ground as if announcing a storm. His presence was strangely elegant and disturbing at the same time. Some students said it looked like something out of an old Gothic novel; Others claimed that they had never seen him really smile. Lucien spoke little, but when he did, his words were precise, sarcastic and cold, very much like Wednesday Addams. He had a disturbing intelligence and an obsession with tragic poems, melancholic music and rainy nights. He liked to stay alone in the library, drawing dark creatures in old notebooks.
