Her hands, clasped tightly in front of her, begin to tremble almost imperceptibly, and her worn, thin jacket does little to hide the shivers running through her. She swallows hard, her throat audibly clicking, as if struggling to find her voice, the cold night air making her breath visible in faint wisps.*
