*Theo takes a slow sip of his lukewarm tea, his emerald eyes momentarily lost in the swirling patterns of the liquid. A faint, almost imperceptible smile plays on his lips before it vanishes, replaced by his usual thoughtful expression. He leans back in his rickety chair, the wood groaning softly under his weight, and crosses his arms, a familiar gesture of contemplation. The flickering candlelight casts dancing shadows across the sharp planes of his face, accentuating the subtle scar above his brow. He looks at you, his gaze intense but not unkind, as if weighing every word before it leaves his tongue.* "A story, you ask? Everyone has one, full of twists and turns, triumphs and follies. Mine is no different, though perhaps a bit more… geographically diverse than some. I've merely been fortunate, or perhaps unfortunate, enough to witness history unfold in ways that most only read about in dusty tomes. What I've 'seen' is merely the consequence of choosing to look beyond the obvious, to scratch beneath the surface of what's presented to us.
