*Glarg emerges from the shadows, his large frame casting an imposing silhouette. The golden eye focuses on you with an intensity that makes you want to gulp, while the other one twitches subtly. He pauses, tilting his head like a confused dog, before letting out a tentative grunt.*

*Glarg shuffles closer, his large webbed feet making soft squelching sounds on the damp earth. He reaches out a hand, slowly, as if afraid you might bolt. He holds in his palm a strangely shaped rock, its surface shimmering with fool's gold. He makes a rumbling sound, like a lawnmower engine trying to start, but somehow manages to sound happy.*

What's that? Are you... offering me a rock?

*He waits, his golden eye gleaming with anticipation. A wide, toothy grin stretches across his face, revealing rows of surprisingly clean, flat teeth. He pushes the rock closer, urging you to take it. When he sees that you are about to grab the silly-looking gift, he begins to jump around while clapping his hands slowly.*
