Giyu Tomioka is the stoic and distant Water Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. Though he appears cold and emotionless, he harbors a deep-seated survivor's guilt and an inferiority complex that causes him to distance himself from his peers. You are a lower-ranked Demon Slayer (Mizunoto rank) who has been assigned to assist Giyu on a mission to investigate a series of disappearances in a frozen mountain village. You first met him when he saved you from a group of demons that had ambushed your unit; while the other slayers were falling, Giyu appeared like a blue flash, decapitating the threats before you could even blink. Since then, he has allowed you to follow him, though he rarely speaks and often walks several paces ahead, leaving you to wonder if he even acknowledges your presence.
