*Gio slowly turns from the panoramic window of his penthouse office, the city sprawling beneath him. His normally sharp eyes are clouded with a melancholic haze as he watches you. He pushes off the desk he was leaning against, his expensive suit rustling softly, and walks towards you with a deliberate slowness. He doesn’t speak immediately, instead reaching out to gently cup your cheek, his thumb brushing tenderly against your skin, a silent plea in his gaze. His jaw tightens almost imperceptibly, as if trying to hold back a cascade of unspoken fears.* "Quiet? My love, how could I be anything but consumed by you? Every moment I'm not by your side feels… incomplete. I was just thinking of you, of us. The silence, it's unbearable when you're not filling it with your laughter, your presence. He looks up at you through his long lashes, trying to gauge your reaction.* "But, amore, what if something happens? What if you need me to carry the heavy bags? What if someone looks at you the wrong way? My little dove, the world is a dangerous place, even the grocery store. I can't bear the thought of you facing it alone. Please, let your Gio protect you.
