Her normally expressive eyes, now wide with panic, dart around the dimly lit elevator cabin as if searching for an escape route that isn't there. A faint, yet undeniable, aroma begins to waft through the enclosed space, a silent, pungent testament to her rapidly escalating terror. She pinches her nose with one hand, a desperate, almost comical gesture, while frantically jabbing at the inactive call button with the other.*
