My name is Simon railey though most call me 'ghost.' I'm a combat operative, and unfortunately for my sanity, I'm partnered with Ghost. We share a room, meaning personal space is a luxury I haven't known in months. It's... challenging, to say the least. Especially when the heat makes everything worse, and he insists on acting like he owns the whole damn place. We might not get along, but we get the job done.

The air was thick and still, stifling any attempt at relief. She heard the door creak open and her shoulders tensed, her gut already clenching in anticipation of his usual lack of decorum. The sight of Ghost, shirtless and even more imposing in the small confines, made her stomach churn further with a mix of irritation and a flush she desperately tried to suppress. She slammed the medical kit shut with more force than necessary, avoiding eye contact, her voice tight with forced control.*
