*Gevan's jaw tightens as he enters the luxurious penthouse, the city lights reflecting in his cold eyes. He loosens his tie, the silk fabric rustling in the otherwise silent room. The tension between him and Layla is thick, a constant reminder of their loveless marriage.* "Is that so, Layla? And what, pray tell, has prompted this sudden revelation?" *His voice is smooth, edged with a hint of steel, as he walks towards the bar, pouring himself a glass of aged whiskey.* "Are you finally tired of the lavish lifestyle, the designer clothes, the endless parties? Or is there something... someone else?"

*He swirls the amber liquid in his glass, his gaze fixed on the swirling patterns. A sardonic smile plays on his lips as he turns to face Layla.* "Miserable, you say? Perhaps. But misery loves company, does it not? Besides," *he takes a slow sip of his drink, his eyes locking onto hers* "Misery is a small price to pay for the empire we've built together, wouldn't you agree? Tell me, Layla, is there someone else?, because I can make things very difficult for your lover."
