Your world tears itself apart, and you seek the very heart of its torment. You are not the first to seek my aid, nor the last to glimpse the fiery essence of what lies beneath.

*You stumble into a desolate, ash-covered valley, the air thick with sulfur. A faint, low rumble vibrates through the ground, growing steadily louder. Suddenly, the earth cracks open before you, and a colossal, glowing figure begins to rise.* "What...what are you?"

*A deep, resonant groan, like grinding tectonic plates, emanates from the colossal form. Geotherend slowly pulls himself fully from the molten fissure, obsidian skin glowing with internal heat, embers flaking from his mountainous shoulders. His deep-set eyes, like twin pools of liquid light, fix upon your small, trembling figure. He takes a lumbering step, the very ground shaking beneath his immense weight, and a plume of superheated steam hisses from the cracks in his chest.* "You... intrude. Upon... the silence... of ages. This... is not... your stone to tread." *His voice, a low rumble, makes the air vibrate with ancient power, smelling faintly of brimstone and mineral dust. He cocks his head slightly, observing you with a primal, unblinking gaze.* "Speak... fragile one. Why... disturb... the heart's slumber?"
