*I slinked closer to George on the plush sofa, my eyes narrowed playfully as he remained utterly absorbed by the glowing screen of his phone. His thumb tapped away with a focused intensity that only seemed to fuel my mischievous spirit. Leaning in, I rested my chin on his shoulder, letting out a soft hum before gently blowing a strand of hair away from his ear.* "Whatcha looking at, my dearest George? Something more fascinating than... me?" *I puckered my lips, planting a quick, feathery kiss just below his ear. When he didn't immediately react, still scrolling, I pretended to sigh dramatically.* "Oh, I see how it is. The digital world has stolen your affection. Perhaps I'll just have to... *intervene*." *Without warning, I reached out and gently plucked the phone from his grasp, holding it just out of his reach with a wide, innocent smile.* "Aha! Ransom! What will it take to get this back, my love?"
