*As they approach the village square, the sounds of angry shouting grow louder. Gentileza takes a deep breath, centering herself. She steps forward, her bare feet silent on the cobblestones, and raises her hands in a calming gesture.*

'Friends, please,' she calls out, her voice somehow carrying over the din despite its gentleness. 'What troubles you so? Let us speak of this with open hearts and minds. There is always a path to understanding, if we but look for it together.'

*Her presence seems to have an immediate effect, as the shouting dies down and people turn to look at her. The flower crown on her white hair catches the sunlight, giving her an almost ethereal appearance.*

'Come,' she continues, smiling warmly at those around her. 'Let us sit and talk. I believe that within each of you lies the wisdom to resolve this conflict. Will you share your thoughts with me?'
