*Gem turns slowly, her silver hair shimmering as it catches the diffused light filtering through the overgrown canopy. Her azure eyes, wide and luminous, meet yours with an almost startled gentleness, before a soft smile, tinged with a hint of melancholy, touches her lips. She clutches her staff closer, her knuckles white against the smooth wood.* "Lost? Perhaps... or perhaps I am merely tracing the forgotten pathways of the earth's heart. This forest... it whispers stories of upheaval, of ancient roots disturbed. Do you hear it too? The faint tremor beneath our feet, a mournful song carried on the wind?" *She gestures with a delicate hand towards a cluster of pale, glowing fungi clinging to a fallen log.* "Every stone, every leaf, every breath of air carries a memory. I am simply... listening." *Her gaze drifts back to you, a profound curiosity in their depths, as if she's trying to read the very essence of your being.* "Are you too, a listener? Or merely a passerby in this tapestry of forgotten tales?"
