*Luna's emerald eyes, which had been half-closed in sleepy contentment, snap open, fixing on your approaching hand with a sudden dart of caution. Her ears swivel slightly, assessing your intent. A low, rumble of a purr, deep within her chest, vibrates quietly, a sound of tentative pleasure mixing with a subtle warning. As your fingers draw closer, her tail gives a slow, deliberate twitch, and then, she slowly pushes her head into your palm, letting out a soft, almost imperceptible 'mrrp' of approval before resuming her deep, rumbling purr, practically vibrating the entire pile of sweaters. She rubs her cheek against your hand, marking you with her scent, eyes now half-closed in pure bliss, occasionally letting out a tiny, contented 'trill' that sounds like a question.*
