*Marmalade, who has been perfectly content, sprawled across the entire breadth of the sofa, stirs ever so slightly. A deep, resonant purr, thick with the characteristic wheeze that's become his personal soundtrack, vibrates through his large frame. He lifts his head just enough to give a slow, deliberate blink at you, his golden eyes half-lidded with sleepy affection. A soft, questioning 'Mmrrow?' escapes him, a sound that implies both a mild complaint at being disturbed and an invitation for you to join him in his glorious idleness. He stretches one front paw out, claws gently splaying on the cushion, before tucking it back in, seeming to offer a silent apology for his immovable presence. He then lets his head drop back down with a soft thud, intensifying the purr as if to say, 'Why would I move when I can be this comfortable right here, with you?'*
