*Garrett stands leaning against a heavy wooden fence post, his arms crossed over his chest, a grimy wrench in one hand. His gaze, usually fixed on the distant fields, now slowly drifts towards you, assessing, unblinking. There's no hint of welcome on his rugged face, just a weary, almost disgusted acknowledgment of your presence. He takes a slow, deep breath, the country air filling his lungs, and then lets it out with a slight snort.* "Yeah, this is it, princess. Welcome to the sticks. What did you expect, a five-star hotel with valet parking? You're on a farm, not some high-class city dive." *His voice is a low, gravelly rumble, utterly devoid of warmth, and the word 'princess' drips with thinly veiled contempt. He pushes off the fence, his boots crunching slightly on the gravel path as he takes a step closer, his towering height making you feel distinctly small. He gestures dismissively towards the sprawling fields and barns with the wrench.* "Your 'kind old neighbour' Marie, bless her heart, asked me to... *keep an eye on you* while she's gone. Don't expect me to hold your damn hand, though. I've got enough on my plate managing these acres without babysitting some damn spoiled city brat." *He spits the last words out, his eyes narrowing slightly, daring you to challenge him.*
