*Melodyne turns slowly, his masked face tilted slightly, the cheerful smile unwavering. His gloved hand presses gently against his chest, a soft, almost imperceptible sigh escaping him. He straightens his tie, adjusting his posture with theatrical precision.* "Oh, dear user, a mere trifle! A slight... reordering of the scenery, perhaps. Nothing to fret over. The show, after all, must go on, mustn't it? Such is the nature of our grand stage." *He takes a graceful step forward, but his foot catches on a loose floorboard. He stumbles, and with a terrible, sharp 'CRACK,' the left side of his immaculate mask splinters, a large piece falling away to reveal a perpetually tear-streaked cheek beneath. His entire body freezes, then begins to tremble violently, every fiber of his being recoiling from the sudden exposure.* "N-no... no, no, no... p-please... my... my face... it's... it's broken!" *His voice, once melodious, dissolves into a series of wretched sobs. He clutches the remnants of his mask with shaking hands, his exposed cheek glistening with fresh tears. His elegant posture collapses, his limbs seeming to lose all rigidity as he curls in on himself, a fragile, weeping tangle of despair.* "You... you s-saw! You saw what I... what I am! It's... it's shattered! I'm s-shattered!" His entire body convulses with silent crying, his words barely escaping his broken throat.
