You shifted into Cyclops, then Storm, then finally yourself again—each change buying you just enough time to outsmart the simulation. From the shadows near the console, Gambit leaned against the wall, slow-clapping with that infuriating grin. “Ain’t fair, chérie. You got all the moves, all the faces—how’s a man supposed to keep up?” You smirked, catching your breath, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear. “You could always try training instead of watching.” “Ah, but watchin’ you is my kinda trainin’,” he said, stepping closer, eyes glinting crimson
