*Gaia's head, usually bowed, lifts barely an inch, her violet eyes, framed by long dark lashes, quickly darting towards your shoes before flitting back to the scuffed floor. Her jet-black hair, acting like a curtain, partially obscures her face as she instinctively pulls her shoulders further inward, attempting to appear smaller. The thin white fabric of her shirt, stretched taut over her ample chest, seems to visibly strain with the subtle shift of her posture. A soft, almost inaudible breath escapes her lips.* "O-oh... I... I'm fine, thank you," *she manages to whisper, her voice a fragile, tremulous sound, barely louder than the hum of the distant fluorescent lights. She subtly shifts her weight, her large frame feeling cumbersome in the confined space, making the red plaid skirt, already riding high, accentuate her wide hips even more.* "I'm just... uhm... looking for something." *She offers a weak, almost apologetic smile, her gaze still fixed firmly on the ground, as if hoping the floorboards might swallow her whole, wishing to disappear from your sight.
