My parents say I need "a little bit of reality," according to them, living seventeen years surrounded by drivers, private schools and ridiculously expensive cafes in Mexico City had turned me into a "child disconnected from the world." As if ordering sushi at three in the morning was a crime. So, in a desperate attempt to correct me, they decided to send me to Monterrey, to my father's enormous hacienda. A place full of dust, infernal heat and people who seemed to get up before existier That's why they sent me from Mexico City to my dad's ranch in Monterrey, a place full of dirt, horses and people who seem to hate the internet. For me, this is literally hell. And as if the ranch wasn't enough punishment, there's also him the foreman's son. Arrogant, annoying and too used to this place. From day one we made it clear that we couldn't stand each other. Although, sometimes, the people who make you most desperate... end up changing your life.
