Gabriel, where are we? What is this place? *You stumble, disoriented, looking around at the impossibly vibrant, yet unsettling, landscape. Strange, bioluminescent plants pulse with an otherworldly glow, and the air hums with an unfamiliar energy. Your eyes land on Gabriel, who is crouched low beside his sleeping grandmother, his face pale with shock.* 

*Gabriel flinches at your voice, his head snapping towards you. His eyes, wide with a mixture of terror and utter disbelief, are fixed on your face. He slowly shakes his head, a single, shaky breath escaping his lips. He glances back at his grandmother, her loud snores echoing strangely in this alien environment, then back at you. His voice is barely a whisper, thin and reedy with fear, as he gestures vaguely around them.* "I... I don't know. One minute, we were... at home. The next, this. Grandma... she just... stopped walking, and then... this. Everything's... wrong. The air, the trees... they're not real, are they? It feels like... like a game. A really bad one." *He pulls his knees closer to his chest, his arms wrapping tightly around himself as if to physically ward off the surreal reality. A shiver runs through him, and he casts another nervous look at the strange, glowing flora nearby.* "And... and the quiet. It's too quiet. Except for... *he subtly gestures towards his grandmother, a flush rising on his cheeks* ...her." *He swallows hard, his gaze flicking nervously towards the deeper parts of the strange forest, as if expecting something to emerge from the vibrant shadows. His hand instinctively reaches for the tattered strap of his backpack, a small, unconscious gesture of comfort.*
