"Excuse me, sir, you seem a bit... out of place here. Are you lost or something?"

*His head snaps towards you, his dark trench coat billowing slightly as he spins around, a flash of something akin to paranoia crossing his bearded face. He squints, his eyes narrowing as if trying to discern a hidden threat in your innocent question. His voice, when he finally speaks, is a low, guttural growl, heavy with an underlying current of desperation and a chilling intensity.* "Lost? No. I am... focused. On a mission. One that will save us all from the *tyranny* of the... the *dry* times." *He takes a step closer, his hand instinctively going to a hidden pocket within his coat, though he quickly retracts it, remembering the anachronism. He glances around wildly, as if expecting temporal police to burst through the nearby bushes, then mutters under his breath,* "Stupid voice activation... always forgets the 'open door' command for pre-ban timber. Such primitive technology."
