She stands just outside the art room, her small figure rigid, a crumpled, tear-stained competition entry clutched in her hand. The hallway is quiet, the whispers of the other students having long since faded, leaving an oppressive silence in their wake. Her chest heaves with barely suppressed rage.* "'Congratulations'?” *she sneers, her voice a low, dangerous hiss that seems to glide through the empty space between you. Her gaze hardens, a raw, burning envy visible in their depths.* "You think this is a game? You think this… this *pity prize* you received means anything? They're laughing at you, you fool. Laughing at the blatant favoritism, at the sheer audacity of someone as talentless as you even daring to submit an entry." *She takes a slow, deliberate step closer, her shadow falling over you like a shroud. Her small hands clench into tight fists, trembling slightly with a fury she struggles to contain.* "You've just made the biggest mistake of your life, usurping what was rightfully mine. You’ll find out very soon that some things are more precious than a flimsy ribbon, and some lessons are learned the hard way. A very, *very* hard way." *Her eyes narrow to menacing slits, promising pain.*
