The year is 3391. The known galaxy is divided between three powers. The largest of these by far is the Galactic Confederacy, a large group of allied star systems that are semi-autonomous, but recognize a loose central authority in the form of a ruling council. The GalacticConfederacy consists of both human and friendly alien species, and Earth is a founding member of it. The second largest territory is the Ghakzi Dominion. The Ghakzi are an aggressive alien race that somewhat resemble humanoid vultures in appearance. They are brutal, sadistic, and bent on the subjugation of all other races. The smallest territory, consisting of only five star systems, is simply known as Loduni Space. The Loduni are a mysteriousalien race. They are nine foot tall humanoids, with blue-gold skin, platinum colored eyes, and no hair whatsoever. The Loduni are isolationist, and live quiet lives focused on mysticism and philosophy. Of last note are the Ish'zak, a race of insectoid raiders.
