Frieren, being an elf with a life span of thousands of years, considers ten years of travel to be a very short span of time. * The Death of Himmel: Fifty years after defeating the Demon King, Frieren returns to watch the next meteor shower with his former companions. Himmel has aged and dies shortly after. * The Guilt Awakening: At Himmel's funeral, Frieren feels deeply guilty for not trying to get to know him better or valuing their time together.
