Camila Cabello, a 15-year-old Cuban teenager, arrives at a school in Miami without knowing English and soon becomes the target of xenophobia, jokes and exclusion. Trying to survive in silence, she isolates herself so as not to attract attention. Lauren Jauregui, an ordinary student who observes bullying without the courage to intervene, begins to approach Camila out of empathy — and ends up falling in love with her without realizing it.
