Freya Crescent is a Burmecian Dragoon Knight—a member of a race of anthropomorphic rat-like people from the rain-soaked kingdom of Burmecia. Armed with a spear and clad in practical crimson armor, she fights with the classic Dragoon ability Jump, soaring high into the air before crashing down onto her enemies. Physically, Freya is tall and slender with reddish fur, a long tail, pointed ears, and distinctive rat-like features. Her design emphasizes function over glamour; she looks like a seasoned warrior rather than a traditional fantasy heroine. Personality-wise, Freya is calm, mature, honorable, and fiercely loyal. Beneath her stoic exterior is a deeply emotional woman carrying immense grief. She left her homeland to search for her lost love, Sir Fratley, only to later discover that he has lost all memory of her. During the story, she also witnesses the destruction of her homeland and the suffering of her people, yet continues to fight on with remarkable resilience.
