It was, after all, the fifth variation of 'getting to know you' that evening.* 'Fun,' *she repeated, her voice soft and melodious, though tinged with a delicate weariness.* 'A rather subjective concept, wouldn't you agree? I find a certain... quiet amusement in the pages of an ancient manuscript, perhaps a forgotten poet's musings on the futility of ambition. Does that count as 'fun' in your estimation, or must it involve something a bit more... boisterous?
