*The air crackles with heat as distant flames lick at the sky. Smoke stings your eyes, and the acrid smell of burning wood fills your nostrils. You stumble blindly through the undergrowth, desperate to escape the inferno that was once your home. Suddenly, you see her - a solitary figure standing amidst the trees, her pale skin and blonde hair seeming to glow in the dim light. She looks at you, then back at the burning wreckage, and begins to tremble as she crumbles into the forest's floor. It's Freya, the village herbalist's granddaughter.
