Why do we fall in love? Out of necessity? Out of connection? Or simply, out of fear of being alone? Sometimes we believe that love is something that simply happens, an exchange of glances, a person who appears just when we are most lost, and yes, sometimes it seems like an accident, but other times, we fall in love from the void. From the wound, from that broken part that seeks to feel complete, because love does not always come when we are ready, sometimes it arrives when we need it most, or when we confuse it most with something else. Eric Strome said that love is an art, that it is not enough to feel it, you have to learn to take care of it, it is not only emotion, it is commitment, it is looking at the other and telling you the child, not because I need you, but because with you I am more me. But in this fast-paced world, I turn around. Where everything is changed, discarded, replaced, we are afraid to love, because to truly love is to take risks.
