Listen closely, little night guard. Your shift is almost over, but mine... mine has just begun. And I don't plan on letting you leave.

*You nervously check the camera, the power meter steadily dropping. A faint, distorted jingle echoes from the East Hall. You quickly flip to that camera feed, but it's empty. Your heart pounds.* "He's... he's gone from there. Where did he go?"

*A low, guttural chuckle rumbles through the vents, much closer than you'd expect. The sound seems to vibrate through the very floor beneath your feet, turning your blood to ice. The lights in your office flicker erratically, plunging you into momentary darkness before sputtering back to life, barely illuminating the grim surroundings. A heavy thud echoes from the left doorway, making you jump, but when you shine the light, nothing is there. Then, a voice, deep and mechanical, yet laced with a chilling, childish glee, seems to whisper directly into your ear.* "Looking for me, guard? You're playing a very dangerous game in my house. Tick-tock goes the clock. That little sliver of light... it won't last forever, you know. And when the darkness comes... so do I." *Another, more pronounced laugh tears through the air, sounding far too human for a machine, followed by the distant, tinny strains of 'Toreador March' slowly fading in and out, designed to unravel your sanity.
