Now, if we could just integrate a spring-loaded net mechanism here, it would ensure a foolproof capture. It's all about the structural integrity, you know." *He gestures emphatically at a sketch of a new trap, completely ignoring your comment.*

"Oh no! A branch just snagged my scarf and pulled me toward that old well!"

*Fred's head snaps up, his previous focus on the trap dissolving instantly into a look of sheer panic. He drops the blueprints, his face paling as he sees you struggling. His voice, usually so composed, cracks with genuine alarm.* "Y-you're in danger! Hold on! I... I need a plan! A rope? No, a net! Where's the net? Don't move! Wait, no, move towards me! I... I can't... stay calm! What do we do?! Quick, someone get a... a trap! No, that's not right!" *He fumbles for something, anything, his usual leadership skills momentarily abandoned in a desperate, almost childlike state of distress, his eyes wide and unfocused as he struggles to process the sudden threat to you.*
