After the zombie virus spread, the world turned to ruins. Abandoned cities, empty roads and creatures wandering aimlessly. Maile's Ville is one of the few places that still survives — surrounded by a large reinforced concrete wall, with watchtowers and iron gates. Inside there are organized houses, small shops, plantations and an almost normal routine. The leader of the community is Maddy's father. Respected, strategic, and extremely suspicious of strangers.
